What is a 'blueprint'?
blueprint is not only the brand name of this app but also another term for your goal created in this app. Similar to how blueprint means a design or a plan outlined in a map, the app also help you create a plan for you to follow, in order to achieve your goal and ambitions. blueprint is THE Goal Setting App that will help you chart the blueprint for your life.
blueprint is a PWA. What is that? Is that good?
blueprint is a progressive web app, meaning you can use it either in your browser or install it like an app in your phone. You have the freedom to use it as you like. Plus, installing the app does not consume any space in your device since you are just creating a bookmark. Removing it is also very easy and quick; No app data actually gets stored and nothing is left when you remove it.
How is this app any different from others? Why should I use blueprint?
blueprint has a very simple and minimalistic design. It's goal setting and management approach is very subtle but effective. blueprint is also not bloated like other apps, where you get a lot of complex features that you will never use. Unlike other apps, blueprint values details i.e. goals are informative, simplicity i.e. smart and obvious visual cues, flexibility i.e. adaptive to your pace and situation, and practicality i.e. a goal strategy is required. Not to mention, blueprint also has a very minimalistic but effective and informative Analytics feature which helps you evaluate your goal strategies based on your goal history and overall success rate. These are the fundamental principles under which blueprint operates, making it the most effective and useful app for achieving your goals and ambitions as well as maximizing your overall success and productivity.
Analytics feature says there is inadequate data. Does it even work?
In order to use the Analytics feature, you need to archive at least 10-12 blueprints. A blueprint can be archived only if they are either completed or have passed their deadline. While archiving a blueprint, it is recommended that you add a remark in order to keep a record of the reason why it was an achievement or a setback, for future reference. This is done so that you can have a more accurate and complete reading on your goals history, mainly why you were or were not able to complete the goal which is extremely useful for similar future goals. It is also recommended that you assign correct priority level and category for your blueprint in order to make analysis data more diverse and holistic.
User Permissions? What is that?
blueprint values your choices and decisions. Hence, you will always have the option to opt out of various features. Currently, there is only the option for promotional emails but there will be more as the app develops and grows. In conclusion, blueprint wants you to have the final say regarding any important decision that concerns the use of this app and the use of your data.
What is an Action Plan? Is that the 'goal strategy'?
Yes, an Action Plan is your strategy for completing or achieving your goal. Action Plan is a core component of the goal setting system of blueprint and is not optional. Why does it look so dark?
The App tries to match with your phone's default system theme. Please change the theme mode from dark to light from your phone's settings.
I see an Install option. Is that safe?
Yes. When you click it, it does not actually install the App in your mobile. It just creates a shortcut on your home screen so that it is easily accessible. In fact, it is recommended that you do this for better user experience. Don't worry, nothing gets actually downloaded in your phone.
Why am I seeing Popup notifications in my mobile. Are there Ads?
No, this App is ad-free and it does not open any third-party links. You will only see popup notification when you try to share links in fb, whatsapp, etc. from with in the App. Rest assured. There are no ads nor any links that open other websites.
Why I am not getting my activation email?
Sometimes gmail has issues sending activation email. Please wait for 10 minutes. If you still do not get one, you can try later, simply by logging in. If your account was created successfully but is yet to be activated, you can request activation email on log in.
Is there a mobile application?
Currently, no. But there will be in the near future for both android and IOS. Until then, this PWA (Progressive Web Application) is almost same as an actual application.
I can not log in. Says I need to log out of other devices. What can I do?
You can only log-in in three devices at a time, so just log out from one or all of them. If you are unable to do so, then use the contact email for assistance.
I can not update my blueprints after deadline. Why is it?
After a deadline has passed, you need to select a new deadline or else you will not be able to update.
I am getting an 'Unexected Error' when trying to access my data. Is something wrong?
This usually happens because of these reasons: When the server is updating, it delays your requests. Or After the server finishes updating, your login can get revoked. Either way, nothing is actually broken. Please close the app and re-try after a few minutes. You might need to login again in the worst case.
